He's got a few choice things to say about twenty years ago, and the fact that he doesn't need even a whiff of alcohol to be sure of it - but he knows she'll just fire right back. Instead, he squeezes her hand in return and picks up the mostly ornamental traditional wicker picnic basket while he takes the larger cooler for himself.
"I'll let you take the basket, besides - what kind of guy would I be if I was going within a hundred yards of a lake without a cooler?"
